SBCGlobal Webmail Through the Eyes of an iPhone

Thinking of adding SBCGlobal webmail to your iPhone? Here’s how you do it.

SBC Global acquired AT&T back in 2005 and since have decided to carry on their operations under the AT&T banner as AT&T was a better known brand. That’s not it; AT&T already had a partnership with Yahoo where they agreed that mail would be accessed through Yahoo. This is the reason you get sent to the Yahoo mail service at when you type in SBCGlobal.

Yahoo had to migrate a lot of AT&T users into their own network. It took time but they managed; and as of July 2013; domain extensions such as,,, and many more are all under the AT&T Yahoo webmail service.

However, if you face any problem setting up the account on your iPhone; it is advised that you get professional help.

Whenever you set up the email account on smartphones, you have to configure it both ways: on your smartphone (iPhone is this case) and on the SBCGlobal server. We’ve already explained the configuration for your iPhone; however, if you need help with the configuration on the SBCGlobal server side; you can reach out to the AT&T support team through this link or you could also visit this site for a wide range of helpful topics.
